ABOUT THE WOMEN'S MUSEUM
The Women's Museum of California was established in 1983 as the Women's History Reclamation Project. The mission was to preserve women's history and become an educational resource for the community. Through it's original exhibits, educational programming, and community engagement the Women's Museum of California strives to bring untold stories of remarkable women to light.
Our mission is to educate and inspire current and future generations about the experiences and contributions of women by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the evidence of that experience.
